I just love how even the bouncer has a little dance in his step~
(that kicked-up foot and pointed-toe for a theatrical tossing, lol!)

Just discovered your stuff here, and have been spending several happy hours romping (and slinking, and lurching, and doing a rather slumpy jitterbug) through this wonderful gallery, and I gotta say this is my absolute favorite sequence.

But if I gotta decide between my favorite panels--PROBABLY the domino line of outraged fallen, but MAYBE the perfectly balanced pre-ejection lift, or POSSIBLY the graceful post-ejection ballet, or the aggrieved dignity of the third-from-last panel, or... Well, anyway.

I didn't know we still had artists even SLIGHTLY capable of this sort of thing! I'm sure you get thousands of Hirschfeld comparisons, but the joyful dynamic lines remind me of Walt Kelly, and of course you've got a great style of your own.

Your newest and very happy fan,

--Nonie

Izzy: "I've been thrown out of better places than this..."
Old Silversnoot never looked so nonchalant -- even if his prosthetic is -- erm -- inverted.

I don't think I've ever seen a comic page THIS flawless. Litterally every line is so filled with emotion and dynamic, and I absolutely worship the hands you draw on each character.

This also makes me want to get into traditional inking~

When you say 'Last Waltz' you mean that this is the end of the dance drawings? When will the book come out? I'll definitely purchase a copy of your 'dime-a-dance' book.

So much flowing movements! You're making me sympathize with Izzy again. :iconheplz:

I love your art. So expressive, so fluid, and so funny. If Hoffnung and Hirschfeld collaborated, the result might be something like this. Bravo.

Oh wow, Hoffnung! I'd forgotten all about that guy -- used to love him when I was a kid. I guess his drawings have probably been lurking in the back of my mind this whole time. Thanks for reminding me!

My father, a symphonic musician, had a collection of the little books. I used to love looking at those goofy little cartoons. I'd love to find 'em again.

I love how you ink your characters! This is the kind of style I strive for when inking my stuff. I like how flamboyantly tough the doorman is too.

O man, I hope I am never called to account for what I do (and what I plan to do) to this poor imaginary man.

Thanks again for the jacket advice, by the way! I really do appreciate it when people bring things like that to my attention -- and I mean, hell, it's kind of gratifying that people even pay close enough attention to my silly drawings to notice things like that ;)

Ah, believe me, I think it is our staunch duty to torture the imaginary people we come up with. No one develops through positivity alone, eh?

Don't mention it, as far as the jacket goes! You are absolutely right, I would not have even noticed if I wasn't so deeply and closely admiring the awesome motion lining in your work. c:
