Artist's Comments

The impetus behind this one came from my frantic efforts to meet a deadline, and painting in monochrome did rather help. I wanted it to look a little more Fleischer-esque than it does, but anything potentially unsettling has to be carefully filtered out to meet company standards.

you are so incredibly creative and playful in your work and i really admire you for it - the talent you display at your age simply astounds me! i slap my forehead at almost every one of your posts, so please stop posting because my head feels like it's going to cave in soon...

it doesn't seem to matter what you're drawing, the materials you use, or who you're doing it for, i can always see your hand in it - you should be very proud of that!

great job, per usual!

(exclamation points forever)

The retro style has always found a spot in my heart, and this is no exception :) the whimsyness, as well as the cute chaos in this pic, is wonderful ^-^
Thanks for sharing ;)
